Guest access Please note: Despite the unavoidable Lock Haven address shown on the listing, Windridge is actually located in the town of McElhattan, about 7 miles north of Lock Haven. Windridge is situated on a cul-de-sac street, so traffic is minimal. Right hand side of paved driveway provides guest parking for two cars. Sidewalk (with gentle slope and no steps) from driveway level around the right end of the house brings guests to the patio level and the private apartment entrance. Schlage Connect TM electronic deadbolt with optional alarm settings is provided for entry convenience and enhanced security. Hosts will provide access code for entry when you contact us prior to your arrival. Other things to note Across McElhattan Creek from Windridge is the Wayne Township Nature Park, featuring miles of well-maintained trails through native woods, catch-and-release trout fishing for kids 12 and under, a frog pond, a butterfly garden, and covered pavilions and picnic tables for public use. Trails are suitable for shady casual strolls and hiking; one trail leads to the reservoir and dam at the headwaters of the spring-fed Creek. Nearby is a farm with a group of peacocks usually visible from the road.
