The Stone House is the perfect getaway for an individual or couple. The home is cozy and inviting and has just recently been completely renovated. There is a parking area next to the house that sits on top of a 100 yr old springhouse and it’s natural spring. It is located just 10 minutes outside of Joplin yet seems a world away. The picturesque valley provides the perfect atmosphere to relax, regroup, and refresh. The space Guests are invited to use the entire house. A kitchenette, studio bedroom/living room, and bathroom are available. The kitchenette includes a small refrigerator, a microwave, a keurig, pour over coffee supplies, an electric tea kettle and a hot plate with a small pot to cook. We also provide plates, cups, glasses and silverware. Washer and Dryer are available in the basement for long-term stays only. Guest access Guests are welcome to explore around the house and on the grassy areas on the property. Other things to note The Stone House is located 10 minutes from both Freeman and Mercy Hospital.
