There are several restaurants and ski rental. Ski area Postwiese is a quiet, sun-drenched ski area. Ideal for families with children. There is a total of 8 kilometers of slopes and the area is well-organized. A few days a week the slopes are lit and you can also ski in the evenings. Go tobogganing on the natural toboggan run, or cross-country skiing on one of the many cross-country trails. Also look elsewhere? The ski bus takes you to the surrounding ski areas. In summer the area is an ideal place for walkers and cyclists. Neuastenberg is close to the Rothaarsteig long-distance hiking trail, which leads over the Kahler Asten. Enjoy the Winterberger Hochtour, a hiking trail right through the mountains of Winterberg. Mountain bikers enjoy the long routes of varying difficulty.
