Very private mountain-top, 3-story log cabin, with 3 bedrooms/2.5 baths plus bonus room; sleeps 8. Remote yet just 13 minutes to Ski Cloudcroft (3 more to the village). Completely equipped kitchen yet spacious covered balconies for outdoor grilling while soaking in forested mountain views. Huge wall of windows in the warm and inviting living room brings the pristine forest right indoors. Loft-level master suite, 2 bedrooms below, futon in the cinema/arcade room, means space for the whole family. The space Mystic Mountain Lodge sits at over 9,000 feet above sea level in an area of avid astronomy (professional and amateur). The 2400+ square foot cabin is on 2.2 acres at the end of a cul-de-sac with lots of wildlife and no traffic – very private. The warm glow from the pellet stove in the living room (quite capable of heating the whole house) is supplemented by central forced-air (propane) heating. Free Wi-Fi, a cozy reading corner and black-walnut desk (work from home!) in the loft, a home theater, 3 arcade games (12 games each), and board games mean nobody is going to get bored after sundown following long days of exploring the quaint shops on Burro Street and the 90+ hiking trails around Cloudcroft. Whether breakfast on the covered balcony or grilling lunch/dinner in the great outdoors, the wraparound deck will place you right in the deep woods charm and mystery. Nights on the deck will place you under the deep dark expanse of the Milky Way and planets; bring your telescope! Guest access You will have use of the entire cabin except for the garage. At over 9,000 feet in altitude the air is cool and dry; you won't require A/C. Ceiling fans throughout help ensure cool and comfortable summer temperatures. For the winter months, central heat and a pellet stove (and electric space heaters if required) provide a warm and cozy interior while you watch the deep woods and mountaintop being coated with a hush fresh snow. During adverse weather, 4WD/AWD and/or tire chains or snow socks are strongly recommended (think, "required"). Weather conditions can change rapidly at the top of the mountain. Outdoor (only) video surveillance is active on the parking area and decks (never indoors!). Other things to note □ VALUE (compared to hotels)    ○ Imagine the cost of 8 guests spread out in hotel rooms    ○ NO restaurant bills    ○ PRIVATE living areas    ○ PRIVATE family dining    ○ PRIVATE family entertainment    ○ PRIVATE Immersive views
