Spacious hall, living room, kitchen, utility room, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, porch on the wind with large dining table and comfortable lounge sofa, beautiful palapa and of course a lovely swimming pool of 6x4 meters. Located in a small courtyard and has a spacious, beautifully mature, tropical garden. On-site parking is available, enclosed by a wall with steel and wooden fencing. There the fine Nissan X-Trail (7 seater, automatic) is waiting for you! Economical, comfortable, solid and reliable, so don't look for a rental car! Holiday home and car are only rented together, the price for the X-Trail is 55 euros per day. Including transfer to and from Hato, use of the car, insurance, possibly car seats and (if possible) also a late checkout on the day of departure! A very nice price, if we do say so ourselves 😁. The outdoor space is lovely, the porch on the wind with cozy large dining table, nice lounge sofa and large gas BBQ. Most of the pictures are from '21 when the garden was just finished, the palapa and outdoor shower are not yet on everything. Everything has grown super fast, there is a lot of privacy! Beautiful large tropical plants, flowers, (palm) trees and lots of birds. Modern furnishings, comfortable furniture in calm colour tones. A smart TV with firestick, you can watch endless TV to all kinds of channels worldwide, in addition to movies and series. WiFi works great and has good coverage on the whole plot. The bedrooms are furnished with luxurious King-size box-spring beds of 90x200cm. In the master bedroom arranged as a 2 person bed, but can also be separated. In the smaller bedrooms, they are separate from each other. If you prefer to use it as a King-size, you can indicate this before arrival. We ensure that the beds are put in a different arrangement. The little ones have also been thought of, we have a cot, extra camping bed for a 2nd little one, high chair, changing mat, car seats, etc. The luxury kitchen has a Nespresso machine, milk frother, toaster, blender, sandwich maker, convection oven, microwave, induction hob, large fridge/freezer and much more. In the utility room are the dishwasher and washing machine, large cool box for the beach. The whole house has 220V as well as 110V connections, there are also adapters available. This allows you to charge (suitable) devices such as a phone charger in a 110V socket. There are only 110V sockets on the porch. Kaya Arembos; a cozy, colorful courtyard with all former defense houses built by the Dutch government. Surrounded by tropical greenery, numerous butterflies, birds and hummingbirds. Big Mountain; A nice, safe, quiet neighborhood, wonderfully located on the wind, nice and central in the middle of the narrowest part of the island. Close to the airport and Willemstad, but especially very close to the most beautiful beaches of the island! Our favorites are Portomari, Cas Abou, Daaibooi and Kokomo and a little further to Westpunt you will find Grote Knip, Lagun, Kalki and Piskado. You can swim to your heart's content even with the turtles, sunbathe, snorkel, dive fantastically and enjoy all the other water sports. In the neighborhood itself, within walking distance, is Bali where you can eat delicious Asian and Surinamese food. Next to Bali is a delicatessen and also the cocktail bar Shots, here too nice drinks and good cuisine. Just outside the neighborhood you will find restaurant De Buurvrouw and Landhuis Daniel. There are so many nice places to eat or drink. With less than 10 minutes in the car you will find a unique place at Williwood, Marfa's Hangout where they have the famous Kabritu Burger, stop at the flamingos or view the art of Nena Sanchez in Landhuis Jan Kok! For a longer stay period (more than 4 weeks) we can give a discount. Other things to note Final cleaning is mandatory upon departure. If you also want an interim cleaning and change of bed linen and towels, you can indicate this before arrival. The 7% tourist tax will be charged upon arrival. This is only levied on the basic overnight rate, i.e. excluding cleaning and other additional costs. The rental price does not include the consumption of water and electricity. We find it very important to be economical with energy and water. That is why we have chosen to charge energy and water separately. We paid attention to sustainability when purchasing the equipment. The energy consumption of the air conditioners, refrigerator and other equipment in the villa is low, but the price of water and electricity is very high on Curacao. The final costs therefore depend greatly on use. Air conditioners in particular use a lot of energy, so use them wisely. Based on meter readings that we take together upon arrival and departure, we will settle or settle the amount at the end of your stay. This is usually between 5 and 10 euros per day for an occupancy of 2 to 4 people. Of course we do not charge the costs for the drip installation, refilling the swimming pool and the consumption of the swimming pool pump! Consumption during your stay will be charged at the rate of €9 per m3 for water and €0.50 per kWh for electricity. All guests pay a deposit and when the house is delivered in good condition, the consumption of water and electricity can be deducted from the deposit. If there is damage to the home or equipment, the consumption costs will be charged separately.
