If you don’t mind the drive we offer a very nice, safe, AND affordable place alternative to those locations. Please don't book with us if you or the person staying with you needs/wants to be in a super luxurious or trendy location. Thank you. 2. WE LIVE ON THE PROPERTY with our 5 year old. She often plays out front. You will hear frequent laughter, squeals, and rambunctious playing. If you require a total zen space, this probably isn't the rental for you :-) 3. THIS UNIT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR SMALL CHILDREN. We love kids, but unfortunately can't host them at this time. Any child over the age of 5 is welcome in the included max guest count of two people. 4. THE BACKYARD SPACE IS PRIVATE AND NOT FOR GUEST USE. 5. THERE IS A NO SMOKING AND NO PET POLICY due to severe allergies of host. Key-less entry means you can check in as late as you like, just use the door code. You will have a super comfy modern foam and coil mattress for a great nights sleep. This is a space where you will find "your" kitchen away from home. We have made sure that you will have what you need. If there is anything special you might want please ask us. We live next door and are always available to help. In the photos you will see a fireplace. This is an old coal burning fireplace with a beautiful mantle. It is no longer functional. Guest access There is a keyless entry pad to access your private apartment. Our backyard is a private space and not for guest use. There is a small patio with a table and chairs, with a great view of our garden, out front for your use. You are welcome to relax outside and feel free to grab a tomato, cucumber, or whatever we have growing during your stay. Other things to note Chris is a realtor specializing in historic homes. Vallejo is centrally located about 20 miles from Napa and Sonoma wine country and about 30 miles to downtown San Francisco. The Sierras Nevada mountains are a few hours by car. This is an ideal location to make a base camp to visit the whole bay area.
