Our family lake house is on Malletts Bay in Colchester, Vt. We have had this camp for over 30 years and have now decided to share it with others!! Our home is across the road from the lake, so within 80-100 steps you are relaxing on the beach. There is plenty of fishing and swimming to do on the lake as well! There is also a garden out back-so feel free to nibble, and a porch outside with a table, chairs & umbrella for relaxing the day away or eating outside. We hope you will enjoy our home! THE SUNSETS are out of this world!! From the sunrise walk on the beach to sunsets down by the picnic table, they are the beautiful bookends to a perfect day. For the warmer nights each room has an AC and for the cooler nights come foliage season, there is a heater for your comfort! You are also 10 minutes away from Downtown Burlington and Church Street!! Our Beach Access is 80-100 steps from the front door to a private beach for only the residents of our neighborhood. There is also the Causeway that jets out onto Lake Champlain, with walking/ biking/fishing/etc. Feel free to bring your bike, kayak, fishing gear, and/or SUP for some lake fun in the sun! Someone can be there to check our guests in and to walk them through the house. However, if meeting is not necessary, we will also have both phone, email, and texting communications available for our guests. As well as, a local family members who can be on site willing to assist with any issues. The Sunset DRIVE IN is only a few miles away and it is one of our favorite date nights! Chopstick House 2 has the best Chinese food in the area and are located right next to the Drive In. There is also a local sports pub, Rozzi’s, and the Guilty Plate Diner which are both known for amazing food and drinks. And a grocery story and gas stations are also in the area for any other needs, as well as the token pizza place for delivery, New York Pizza Oven. There is also a Dunkin Donuts, McDonald’s, and Mazzas General Store for all of your needs as well. Drive your car and bring your bike, kayak, SUP, and your walking/running shoes!
