This green two-story forest lodge adjacent to Cook Forest State Park. Owner's Note: This Lodge has a unique layout perfect for no more than 2 adults and 2 small children. The lower level has an open floor plan with kitchen and living area. There is a staircase leading up to the second floor open loft master bedroom, with a queen size bed, and enclosed bathroom. The children's bunkbeds are in an open alcove at the top of the stair way. The space Secluded, well-appointed lodging on the edge of primeval Cook Forest State Park, offering lovely views and excellent options for outdoor adventuring. Lovely new kitchen! Guest access You've got the whole cabin, the yard, forest, and creek! Plenty of space for cookouts, stargazing, & tent camping as well. There is an outdoor fire ring and grill. Other things to note The kitchen features a side-by-side fridge, and there's a four-burner gas range and oven, a toaster, a microwave, and drip coffee maker. Or use the outdoor charcoal grill, or roast s'mores over the fire ring. Towels, linens, and a dvd player are provided. There's no over-air or cable signal for the television, and no telephone service [i.e., no land line]. Cell phone reception along the river is incredibly rare, but higher spots (e.g. Seneca Point) often work. Price includes the daily $9.90 Pennsylvania tax + $4.95 Forest County hotel tax.
