Welcome to the mountain! It's been in the family for five generations and is a relaxing, private getaway seven miles from town or short drive to many natural areas. The comfortable and spacious 4BD/2BA retreat is a pleasant walk to panoramic mountain views with stunning sunsets and sunrises. The home is set at the edge of the woods with great porch sittin' and a large front yard and fishing pond. Enjoy sitting around a campfire or snuggle up by a the cozy wood burning stove. The space Enjoy short hikes or fishing. Bicyclist love riding up and down the mountain and back roads. It's a short drive to Muddy Pond, Holpp's Lake, Bee Rock, Meadow Creek Park, Cummins Falls, Burgess Falls, Virgin Falls, and plenty of golf. It's about an hour drive to Standing Stone and Rock Island State Parks. There is a charcoal grill on the back porch and full kitchen with coffee. The upstairs king bedroom has a desk. Upstairs has three bedrooms and one full bathroom with tub and shower; a king bedroom, full bedroom, and one with two twin beds. Downstairs has one queen bedroom and a full bathroom with tub and shower. Common area is one big room containing the kitchen, dining, and living room. There is one TV in the living room with live TV, Disney plus, Hulu, and other apps. A/C and electric heat as well as the wood burning stove. We provide the wood. The house is private with a private drive and plenty of parking. Our primary residence is up the hill if you need anything. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and yard. Other things to note We have a beagle you may see wandering the property. He is loud but extra friendly. All the homes near the house are family and friendly.
