This recently updated home is in a quiet residential neighborhood and just a quick walk away from the shops and restaurants on Spring Street. Whether you are looking for an adventure base camp, coming to town for a wedding, or just want to relax and recharge, the Mountain View Cottage is the place for you. The space There is a Roku TV in the living room to stream your favorite TV shows and movies over the super fast WIFI. The smaller bedroom also has a smart TV. If you'd rather take a break from technology, the backyard fire ring is the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day and the views can't be beat. The full kitchen is equipped with a coffee maker, toaster, microwave and everything needed to prepare meals during your stay. There is a desk and chair in the small bedroom for remote work. The house is a 1910 with river rock foundation and and has some quirks given its age and additions over the years. The floors are a little uneven in places and the ceiling height varies in some rooms. The bathroom and breakfast nook ceilings slope down to about 7 feet. I guess people were smaller back then. :) There is a railroad track across the street but the train runs infrequently (1-2 times per day) and because it sits below grade, it isn't very loud in the house. The train track runs right through the middle of Hot Springs along the river.
