Héron is one of 3 safari tents, overlooking the beautiful countryside of the Lot department, SW France. We are 23km N of Cahors and 25km SE of Gourdon. Experience the joy of the outdoors, with comfortable beds, solar electrics, a gas hob, fridge, hot & cold water, an interior bathroom, with fabulous shower & a flushing toilet! The space Immerse yourself in nature with the benefit of home comforts. We have a lovely area of woodland for children to play in and for adults to relax in a hammock in the shade. We have table football, ping pong, badminton and petanque. A lovely heated pool situated in the ancient courtyard of our stone farmhouse. A small rustic shop in our ancient bread oven stocked with essentials. We have chickens and, depending on the time of year, sheep/goats/cows, a lovely Border Collie and a lazy cat. Please note that the third bedroom is a 'cabin bed', so the room is the bed and it is accessed by a ladder. Children love it and agile adults too! Guest access Guests may access the pool between 9am and 9pm. Other things to note Please be reassured that we are adapting our cleaning procedures and putting measures in place to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
