This is the perfect place to come to rest and relax. We have board games, puzzles & books inside as well as yard games outside. Nearby forest land is less than a half mile away, plenty of room for riding horses or quads. There are neighbors, however we do not have the noise of traffic or loud music. The most noise we usually hear is the occasional elk bugling near by in the woods or the moo of a cow from a neighboring farm. And on a clear night you will be able to see a billion stars in the sky! The space Enjoy all that the White Mountains have to offer! Hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, and kayaking are just some of the nearby activities. The Pinedale Cabin is on one acre of land, within a half mile of the National Forest. Pinedale has the only covered bridge in the state of Arizona, which you will cross on the way to the cabin. This is a quaint cabin with all the amenities of home. All the beds have memory foam mattresses for your comfort. The kitchen has all the dishes you will need, pots & pans for cooking as well as a toaster and coffee pot. There is coffee, creamer & sugar in the cupboard for your use. You will also have a dishwasher, washer & clothes dryer. The master bath has a jacuzzi tub big enough for two. You can enjoy a relaxing bath after a day of playing in the nearby forest or at one of the many nearby lakes. The Great Room is perfect for enjoying time with family and friends. Enjoy the cooler evenings sitting around the campfire roasting marshmallows and spending quality time with your loved ones. The cabin does have a TV and DVD player, however chances are you will be too busy enjoying your self to watch it. WiFi is also available. The TV’s all have an Amazon Fire-stick so that you can access your favorite programs. We have Hulu, Net Flix, and Amazon Prime. You may also log in to your own tv apps just don’t forget to delete it before you leave. Temperatures at night drop down into the 60’s & 70’s most of the time in the summer. We are typically 20 -30 degrees cooler than the valley, year round. So enjoy those summer nights by opening the screened windows and enjoy the fresh air! We have a pack & play style bassinet for your use inside the master bedroom’s walk in closet if you need it. There is also a high chair in the hall closet. We have provided soap, shampoo, towels, & dishcloths for your use. There are towels in the hall closet, as well as in the bathrooms. We also have an emergency supply box located in the hall linen closet. This has things such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, disposable razors, tampons, sanitary napkins etc. please use what you need out of there. I know that when I am traveling I always find that I have forgotten something. Our goal is to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Please feel free to contact us with questions or concerns that may arise during your stay. Guest access Guest will have access to the entire house. As well as the acre of land it sits on. (There is one locked closet in the master bathroom where I keep supplies). Bring your horses or quads. Quads can be ridden in nearby forest and on roads, but please do not ride in the yard or on the property. If you want to bring your horses just let me know. We do have a 16’x32’ horse corral. You may access the forest land by going South on Turkey Hill Road. The driveway is actually a shared access road with the neighbors to the West, so please do not block the access to their home. They use the South side of the driveway. You will still have plenty of room to park under the carport and in the driveway. Please do not park vehicles in the yard. There is plenty of space to park, so there is no need to park in the grassy area in front. Other things to note Pets are welcome, please bring your well behaved fur babies with you. I do not charge extra for pets (unless something gets torn up). I only ask that you do not leave them alone in the cabin and please do not let them tear up anything in the house. (The only exception would be if they are kennel trained). They may go outside as long as you are with them, they do not have to be leashed, however; the yard is not fenced to keep dogs in. We do have a very small fenced area off the back door for small dogs. Quad riding is not allowed on property but they may be ridden on dirt roads and in nearby forest. When riding just head back N to Pinedale wash road then East to Turkey Hill road and head South. This will lead you into the Forest. There are also many nearby lakes for fishing, kayaking, or swimming. There is a small pond in the yard, please do not leave your children unsupervised near it. There is no fence around it. The pond is 2 -3 feet deep and there are some small fish in it and some lily pads growing. The Elk have been known to come in for a drink now and then, mostly in the fall. You may see them or even hear them bugling at night near by. If you are driving anywhere in the late evening or night please watch for the Elk and deer. They have been seen often on the dirt road in front of the house. They are also on the highway at night so please use caution when driving. The use of fireworks or discharging firearms is never allowed on or near the property. No parties are allowed.
