Cabin 7 was built in the 1980's. It is one of our interior units and features more modern construction and really has that "Up North feel" to it. Shady Shores is conveniently located along Michigan's gorgeous east shoreline along US-23, locally known as the sunrise side. The resort features stunning, unimpeded views of Lake Huron and the eastern horizon. We are located 2 miles south of downtown Oscoda and 12 miles north of downtown Tawas. We have direct access to Lake Huron as well as thou The space Each of our cabins is just under 500 sqft made of either knotty pine or modern panels, and boasts two bedrooms, each containing a queen sized bed. Cabins are professionally cleaned and disinfected between guests, and new linens and towels are placed. Water and sewer are municipal. Cups, plates, pots, flatware, and basic cooking utensils are provided. Kitchens include toaster ovens, basic ranges, and refrigerators. Guest access We have electronic locks on every cabin as well as a physical lockbox key as a backup. You will receive an email with checkin instructions and your cabin code prior to arrival. There is no need to physically check in or out with the office on arrival or departure.
