Guest access Germantown is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Philadelphia. The diversity and character of the people here is outstanding. Our neighborhood is lively and good hearted. There is a school behind my house and a few pollinator gardens in the front yard. We have a deck with a gas grill and plenty of outdoor space to relax. The train is 2 blocks away which will take you anywhere you want to go in and around Philadelphia. It's about a 20 minute drive to Center City. The bus stop is 1/2 block away. Private, off-street parking spot available for extra fee. During your stay I'm an 8th grade teacher, so, that's a good summation of how I respond to guests: courteous and considerate with clear boundaries. Other things to note Think of this space as your own private bed and breakfast--without the breakfast! If you're a responsible, professional, clean, pleasant person looking for good energy and a peaceful space, my home is for you. Outdoor smoking/vaping is permitted in your outdoor space. While not a sober house, no heavy drinking/drugging or behaviors associated with such is permitted on the property.
