Seawater is good for couples, solo adventurers and families (with kids). The space Seawater is a granite holiday cottage with its own parking space located in beautiful St Ives, Cornwall. The cottage, which sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, is tucked away in a quiet street in the town centre and within a few minutes walk of the harbour, beaches and Tate Gallery. The property has undergone extensive renovations and boasts some impressive contemporary touches, yet still retains many of the original features. A rarity to St. Ives, it has its own enclosed courtyard garden which has a Mediterranean feel with decking, seating and outdoor lighting. The cottage is arranged over three floors and is light and airy yet still manages to be very cosy and invitingly homely. With central heating, old school radiators and a feature log burning gas stove the cottage is equally suitable for winter bookings as it is for the summer. Seawater is extensively and tastefully equipped. Entertainment wise, there is a DAB/CD/ipod sound system, 50" flat screen digital TV and DVD player with a good selection of DVDs & CDs for guests to enjoy. Included in the rental cost is car parking space, bed linen, towels and wi-fi. Taxi from St Erth train station (on the London Paddington to Penzance main line) is approx 10-15 minutes in a taxi. St Ives train station is approx 6-7 minutes walk / 2 minutes taxi. LIVING ROOM The front stable door opens into the open-plan living room with original stripped wooden floor. Features in this room include two comfy sofas, digital widescreen TV, DVD player and CD hi-fi, books, dvd’s and games. KITCHEN / DINING ROOM With a beamed ceiling and limestone-tiled floor, the large kitchen/diner has a light & airy feel about it. The Shaker style kitchen has wooden beech-block work-surfaces and features a multitude of stainless steel appliances including 6-ring range cooker, dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave and SMEG fridge-freezer. With an oak table that comfortably seats 6, a DAB radio / iPod dock and TV. COURTYARD The rear stable door leads out from the kitchen/diner to the enclosed decked courtyard garden with established palm trees and bamboo.
