Our mountainside retreat at the end of the road provides a perfect setting for a family vacation or a quiet getaway. Your stay at our house includes the enjoyment of our private swimming pond, fruit trees and gardens, as well as the surrounding fields and woods. Vermont now allows travel without quarantine once 2 weeks have passed from your final vaccination. Children and unvaccinated adults should continue to wear masks. The space This private mountainside estate feels miles away from the world, but is in the heart of West Dover Vermont, with shops, a movie theater, bars and restaurants, and endless outdoor opportunities. Our property includes acres of fields and woods to wander through and a private pond for swimming. Cook in our fully equipped kitchen, or try out area restaurants. The main level has one bedroom (queen bed) and a bathroom in addition to the living areas, the upstairs has two bedrooms (one twin, one double), a bathroom and an open den with a sleeper sofa. The house has a full size washer and dryer, a front patio and back deck with gas grill. We provide lawn furniture, games and floats for the pond. You may park your car in the garage. But make sure to leave us the opener! $150.00 charge if you take it! Guest access You will need a car to get here, we are about 3/4 mile from the main road. West Dover and Wilmington have plenty of activities like mini golf, an escape room, and shopping, as well as many restaurants and bars. Other things to note Perfect for families! Once you arrive, you may not want to leave. You will have access to our full property, including the swimming pond, fields and trails through the woods. Pick the all-organic fruit -- apples, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries -- in season. Use the herbs from the gardens (oregano, thyme, mint). Lounge on the lawn furniture or play croquet, badminton or Mollkey on a sunny afternoon. On rainy days, you will find plenty of books, puzzles and indoor games on our shelves.
