Villa Lorraine is a superb, very well equipped property that is ideal for a peaceful and memorable holiday. It is spacious and ideally located near the picturesque Provençal village of Opio, a five-minute drive from Valbonne and 25 minutes from the coast. It has panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding countryside and offers complete tranquility. It's suitable for families, a group of friends or a couple looking to get away from it all. We accept pets (paying) but please ask in advance. The space The interior design is calm and comfortable and there is plenty of seating in both the lounge and dining rooms for up to 10 people. There a large (46”/116cms) LED smart TV, unlimited WiFi internet access and French cable TV which has a selection of foreign channels including BBC World and CNN. Kitchen is well equipped with all you will need for your holiday cooking. Outdoors there is a relaxing undercover area for al fresco dining. The elevated position of the villa allows it to enjoy the afternoon breezes. There is a large pool (can be solar heated at the beginning and the end of the season - please ask). It is equipped with a pool alarm, there are sun loungers and an umbrella. There is a pool house with a small bathroom and a gas BBQ. There is an outdoor lounge setting from where you can enjoy an apero while taking in the wonderful views. The garden is terraced (not all are landscaped) and it has about 40 olive trees. Villa suits 2 - 8 guests and it is a great place for family and friends to spend a relaxing holiday on the Cote d’Azur. Guest access Guests will be able to access most of the garden (except for the area where we store wood for the winter) We keep our study closed but the rest of the villa is accessible. Other things to note The pool can be heated using solar and it's great for those that love to swim at the end of the season. As house is south facing - it has the sun all day and there is often a gentle afternoon breeze. For disabled people there is reasonably easy access to the main level from the car - with just two steps to the front door. Smoking is only allowed outside for the comfort of all guests. All bedrooms have air-conditioning. Fans are also available for each room. There is a comprehensive guide with lots of activities and attractions in the area for all ages and interests.
