The renter shall not exceed the number of persons and/or weight limits specified for each of the boats. Anyone under the age of 18 who uses the boats is the sole responsibility of a parent in attendance and the home owners assume NO responsibility for any minor using the boats. Renter shall use the boats and all accessories in a safe manner complying with all boating regulations. Homeowner/boat owner does not presume to know whether renters are able to swim or are aware of boating regulations and therefore renter’s use of the boats is at their sole risk. Renters understand that there is an inherent risk in using a boat including injury or death. Renter Liability: It is expected that the renter will take care of the boats. The indemnities contained in this section shall continue in full force and effect, notwithstanding the termination of this boat liability agreement. Other things to note The cabin's location on Cupsuptic is on the upper part of Mooselookmeguntic Lake, a more protected & less windy part of the lake. In the cabin there’s a Guidebook listing tons of local sights/activities/restaurants to experience during your stay! While there's all of the basic amenities that you can expect (e.g. toilet paper, dishes/silverware, brand new towels/sheets, etc), there's not an indefinite supply of the perishable ones. And no spices/condiments/etc in the kitchen. But the Oquossoc General Store is not far from the cabin and they have everything that you would need! There's an outdoor gas grill available to use at your own risk. Bring binoculars if you'd like to spot an Eagle on the island out front! NOTE - you'll find limited motorized boat activity and no jet skis/wave runners on Cupsuptic Lake, just the call of the loon! There is a both a double kayak and an aluminum Grumman canoe available for use. Two (2) adult vest-style lifejackets are in the downstairs closet. BUT PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ THE CANOE & KAYAK WAIVER IF SO. BY SECURING THIS RESERVATION VIA AIRBNB YOU ARE AGREEING TO AND COMPLYING WITH ALL TERMS & CONDITIONS IN THIS WAIVER. Rivers Edge in Oquossoc rents kayaks and offers a kayaking trip on the Kennebago River. They will drop off & pick up the kayaks at the end of the trip. There is a fun park in Rangeley for young children, playgrounds & a dock to dive off of. We often went as kids. There are tennis courts at both the Rangeley Park and the Oquossoc Park.
