Other seasonal and year round cabins surround it.If you are NOT looking for a chain hotel this is a great space, it has upgrades like mini splits, but it is a cabin and is for the nature lover who enjoys the area, the lake, the quiet and proximity to Brimfield Markets, Sturbridge Village, Tree House etc . Below the cabin, visible from the deck is a small deeded private lake beach,( be advised its a sloped/steeper incline road down to this beach) please use only dock on left side of beach lot. The one on the right side is a private dock, Thanks! Other things to note Guests are required to be age 25+ Please conserve water, the cabin has a shared well which is common if the older cabins around this lake. In the extreme long duration climate change driven droughts of late, I do not rent the cabin to avoid problems with water supply but if a unexpected flash drought occurs during your stay you may encounter low or no water pressure if conservation and common sense usage are not in effect The heating and cooling system is updated to Mini Splits, one in each bedroom and one in living are, There are two remotes to aim at any unit and select heating or cooling mode, fan, and adjust temperature. It’s any easy to-use and efficient system to adjust temperatures and switch modes to heat or cool but you must use only one mode heating or cooling at a time. Please adjust to either off, or a low setting on temperature on these units upon departure. Thank You Feel free to use all kitchen items, Please wash dishes, no dishwasher/garbage disposal on premises. Help yourself to coffee and whatever snack items or breakfast items are in fridge/cabinets! Please practice the saying "take only pictures, leave only footprints” when down at the deeded lake beach area, this is a private beach for all homeowners and as such, is very quiet and must be kept litter free, Thanks!
