House has wrap-around decks and plenty of room to relax and entertain. 5 minute walk to several beaches, and a short drive to everything on Shelter Island. The space This beautiful contemporary home has 2 acres of rolling green lawn and water views of both Coecles Harbor and Gardiner's Bay. The main floor has a great room with fireplace, vaulted ceilings, dining area and two story windows that maximize the view. There is a wrap-around deck easily accessed from the living areas where there is a new gas grill and heat lamp for cooler summer evenings. The kitchen has stainless appliances, gas stove, farm sink and granite counter tops. There are two bedrooms on the main level and a full bath in the hall. One of these bedrooms has a deck and view of the heated, gunite pool. There is also a powder room for guests on the main level. The second floor has a media room with skylights and a futon sofa suitable as an extra guest bedroom. Across the open landing which also has a waterview is the master suite with private bath, waterside balcony deck and separate laundry room. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house for themselves for their entire stay. Other things to note We allow dogs with prior approval. Also, we have 50Mbps internet with a great wireless router for strong signal across the house and outside. For longer stays, we require the housekeeper to come every 2 weeks.
