My husband, Joe, retired in 2018 from his job of 30 yrs. I retired in Jan 2020 (right before Covid19) from owning/operating a large childcare facility for 22 yrs. We raised our 5 children in this beautiful home. We love to share our gift of hospitality when we have the opportunity. Dayton is a short drive to Carson City, Virginia City, Lake Tahoe, Reno. It is perfect for long/short term business, family, leisure trips, or anyone just looking for a comfortable place to stay between destinations. The space Our large guest suite is 720 sq ft. It has all the comforts of home and set up for maximum convenience and relaxation. There is a king size bed and a pull out queen size sofa sleeper. Also a kitchenette for adequate meal preparation. Included in the room are a few light breakfast items. There is a fenced outside sitting area with table and chairs. We even have a mini propane table top grill. The suite also has a large walk in closet for storage and hanging clothes. Finally, the suite has its own thermostat for maximum comfort. Guest access Access to our guest suite is private and from the back of our house. Parking is to the left side of the driveway and off the street. There is a keypad entry for privacy. Guests can not enter the main house from this suite. Other things to note Located across from the Award Winning Arnold Palmer designed Dayton Valley Golf Course. As a bonus, we even have a mini putting green for fun.
