There is a small adjoining deck to sit and have your morning coffee or an evening cocktail. The adjoining field is a great place for evening stargazing, a campfire, or a picnic, with spectacular view of Mts. Madison & Adams.. Fall foliage is breathtaking, and in winter, snowshoeing and cross country ski trails start right out the front door. Just a 5 minute drive to the Crescent Ridge Glades. We will be happy to transport you to the trailhead when parking lot is full. Five major downhill ski areas are within an hour's drive. Many amenities within 5 - 60 minute drive. Day trips can include a shopping trip to North Conway, a scenic trip up the Mount Washington Auto Road, canoeing on the beautiful Androscoggin River, adventurous hikes up Mount Madison or Mount Adams, or leisurely hikes on the hundreds of miles of trails in the White Mountain National Forest or the Randolph area maintained by the Randolph Mountain Club. Clear, cool mountain pools nearby for swimming. We accept pets, (dogs, not cats) after guests review our pet policy and approve. We do not have parking space to accommodate ATV nor snowmobile trailers. There is a rental place in Gorham for those type of things and a parking lot at Lowes (pay) where trailers can be parked.
