Ski slopes are close by (a few minutes away driving distance). We are walking distance to outdoor pool for summer months (one street over). We regularly offer morning check-ins and late check-outs at no additional charge - as long as there are no conflicting reservations and based on cleaning company availability to ensure for extra COVID precautions/etc. Perfect location year-round! After the last golf tee time each day, you can walk out a few yards to the third hole fairway from our deck and practice a few shots or even ‘golf at no charge.’ (Holes #3, #4, #5 and #6 are all an easy walking distance from our house - a great ‘mini-round’.) We even have a few sets of clubs at the house for our guests. Our beautiful mountain house sleeps six to eight easily: Two Master -Bedroom Suites, each with a king-size bed, large en-suite bathroom, and flat screen TV's. Perfect for a couple who want to have a nice spacious place for a get-a-way, and equally perfect for two families due to size and the lay-out of the house. Have an infant or toddler? We have all the basic necessities/amenities (in a separate closet). So, you won't have to bring them - e.g. pack-n-play; bouncy seat; infant tub; high-chair; toys, strollers, DVD's, etc. Our home is also appropriate for those requiring extra assistance in accessing and getting around (i.e. with minimal stairs/steps). The ground floor is huge and has all necessary rooms/amenities in and of itself (e.g., master bedroom suite, common 1/2 bath; laundry room; living room; dining room; kitchen and huge deck). The first floor master bedroom is stunning with a beautiful six piece cherry wood bedroom set, cathedral ceilings (both in the room and bathroom - which includes a jacuzzi tub). It has separate access to the deck with gazebo. The second floor master bedroom suite is beautifully decorated with oriental rugs. It has a small balcony and a sizeable sitting/reading area. The third bedroom (on the second floor) has two twin beds and separate full bathroom. Its beds can be joined to form a king bed if requested. This third room also has a flat screen TV. The second floor also has a large open loft area suitable for children to play around and even have a sleepover/campout. All bedrooms, living room, and kitchen area have wood ceiling fans. The house has an enclosed garage which is perfect for winter weather. It includes a very large mudroom - perfect to store all your ski and/or golf equipment, suitcases, etc. The living area is this rental's real highlight! With a large open living space, wood burning fireplace (perfect for S'mores), XboxOne - perfect for streaming your favorite apps (just sign in), entertainment center, a DVD library selection with over 100+ movies (including great DVD selections for children), and over 20 board games/puzzles,… You’ll be living in Mountain Luxury! Our book collection includes a set of 'classic books’. We have firewood at the house for our guests year round with complementary firewood included. We even have some exercise equipment (in a closet; can be put out upon request) and a Foosball table. The adjacent, ground floor dining area seats six comfortably. With additional bar stool chairs at the kitchen, you can accommodate several more guests. On any warm or cool evening you may also enjoy dinner on the large deck with gazebo. Our patio furniture sits up to eight people. The well-equipped kitchen offers a full complement of cookware and appliances, including a microwave, four-burner stove, dual ovens, coffeepot, waffle maker, blender and more. We also have a propane grill for outside cooking. We also include “hotel amenities” like shampoo, conditioner; soap; dishwasher detergent; hairdryers, laundry detergent etc. We have premium coffee, tea and hot chocolate for our guests, too - provided to our guests along with 400+ thread count bed linens and white bath towels. Paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, etc. also provided. Located on top of the mountain and on the Devil's Knob Golf Course, we are down the street from the Devil's Knob Golf Course, Clubhouse and Restaurant, along with many other resort facilities. The Old Appalachian Trail and many other great hiking trails are also nearby. Guests who have stayed at our place have really liked it. They say the pictures don't do the place justice! Also, basic spices like salt, pepper, onion, garlic, parsley and cooking oil. 6. Coffee: Many guests appreciate a good cup of coffee in the morning, so we will provide coffee, sugar and a coffee maker. 7. TV and entertainment: We will provide streaming services like Netflix, as well as board games and books for you to enjoy. 8. Air conditioning and heating: We will make sure the temperature is comfortable, regardless of the weather outside. 9. Laundry facilities: you will have access to a washer and dryer, and we will provide a started set of laundry detergent for your convenience. 10. Safety features: the home is equipped with smoke detectors, first aid kit to ensure guests' safety during their stay.
