When the world seems crazy, sometimes you need to escape. The venues are separated on thirty acres. This is my Man Cave located in my airplane hanger. An eclectic collection of stuff is hung from the ceiling and walls. This is a fun space with a bar, microwave, satellite-TV, fireplace, Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The bed is located in the loft. Danville is a glamping experience. The space The man cave is located as part of an active airplane hangar. The space around the hanger is an active garage and maintenance facility. We work on classic cars, some farm equipment and other manly things. Not much feminine about the man cave but the girls seem to like it. Guest access We would like to introduce you to Danville. Danville is an assembly of different venues and structures created by Dan. It was described by a guest a number of years ago as Dan's art form. His art is not created with paint but in unique and quirky structures with a focus on repurposing. They were built over a period of 10 years after his retirement from his plumbing company. Each one is completely different and unique they were all constructed and decorated by Dan. He now has 30 acres where he has created a farm. His love of animals has allowed him to have goats, donkeys, alpacas, and chickens. You will be on an active farm and not a resort. You will have the ability to interact with animals that have been bred and trained to be friendly. When you leave your venue and venture around the property you will find it filled with farm equipment, building materials, future and current projects. Much like a painter's palette, things are not always neat and organized but everything there is potentially going to be used. Visiting a farm is considerably different than visiting a resort and we hope that this explanation helps to address your expectations. Instructions as to getting into the Man Cave. The address is 244 North Jungle Rd., Geneva, FL 32732. The address is on the mailbox. You will be turning North off of Highway 46. Traveling straight on Jungle Road for 1 mile turning left into my driveway. You will drive to the back of the property. You will pass my home and you will see the airplane hangar on your right. The yellow door is the entrance into the Man Cave. I will have lights turned on for you. There is a motion sensor light above the door that will turn on as you approach. There is coffee in the coffee pot in the man cave. I suggest that you stop at a convenience store (there is one located 2 miles from here that you'll be passing) and possibly pick up some milk or other things. Give me a text in the morning when you're up and moving. There is an excellent hometown restaurant at the traffic light at 46 (Geneva general) it serves an excellent breakfast in the morning. There is a microwave, toaster oven and refrigerator in the man cave. If you look for the thermostat, you'll find it among the DVDs on the wall. The Welcome book on the coffee table will tell you how to turn the television on. The Man Cave has its own private entrance both from in the hanger and directly to the outside. Other things to note We do not provide any meals for our guests but there are grocery stores and restaurants near by. We do except pets and treat them as extra guests please add them to your guest list You have the opportunity to learn how to Milk a goat ,my friend Randy Milks are Pygmy goats at 8:30 at the Barn, a $10 tip is appropriate For a fee, Lauren, a neighbor, provides the opportunity to take a horse back ride through the the 500 acre natural lands park adjacent to Danville . A key charge of $20.00 will be submitted to your Airbnb account if you mistakenly take the door key with you. There is a $20.00 resort fee if you opt to use the jeeps,golf carts or the Zen Experience. The Man Cave is well-suited and is pet friendly. We do require that pets are not left in the venue unattended, please add them as extra guests. On the property you'll find our very cute alpacas, goats, and a brood of my wife's chickens. If you're bringing a pet, please keep it leashed while outside. The space in the loft has a queen size bed. We have additional cots if the second bed is needed. There is a wood-burning fireplace in the man cave. Please do not use when the AC is on. A grill is provided. There is no stove or oven in the man cave, but there are a microwave and refrigerator. We have a gas grill we will provide the gas . For those Guests with OCD we have determined the dust is manly and we try to keep a little around for ambiance My Sister In law recently passed and her cat Phineas has now become the Man Cave cat. If you touch her you will probably own her for your stay. If you let her in, she will be glad to sleep with you.
