The Garden View Suite offers 2000 square feet; an open floor plan for kitchen, living and dining; 3 very comfortable bedrooms; a tiled bathroom split into two rooms with the toilet and sink in one room and a deep soaking tub and sink in the other; free Wi-Fi and Satellite TV; a large patio with gas and charcoal barbeque grills and patio furniture overlooking the herb gardens. We the owners live in the upstairs part of the duplex and are available if needed but give you total privacy otherwise. The space This lovely 3 Bedroom suite is a wonderful meeting/retreat/wedding party space, designed to accommodate quiet groups. Loud parties are not welcome. It is located only 2-3 miles from downtown Decorah and 1-2 miles from Luther College. The private entrance leads you down a set of outside steps to the entrance doors and into a spacious living area; a full kitchen with cookware and dinnerware; coffee maker; dining area; 3 clean and fresh and comfortable bedrooms (one queen bed, two twin beds, one king bed); and laundry room. Our bathroom is unique as it is divided in to two separate rooms to allow use of the bath separate from the toilet. One room has a toilet and sink, and the other has the spa tub/shower and a sink. There are separate entrance doors and also an adjoining door with a lock. Please see photos. This space is equipped for meetings and retreats, offering audio/visual options and white boards for all your meeting needs. Great indoor lighting with an outdoor patio space, bordering herb and vegetable gardens. Private, quiet, clean, fresh, and very convenient to Decorah. Ample parking is available. This is a country setting with a beautiful view of the Upper Iowa River Valley. There are walking trails on the property and space for enjoying outdoor lounging, dining, and grilling. Decorah is a thriving community with a wonderful mix of cultural opportunities including theater, art galleries, biking / walking trails, parks, restaurants, organic foods, seasonal farmers market, education, and outdoor recreation including trout streams, canoeing, tubing, kayaking and fishing the Upper Iowa River. We are located only 2 minutes from the Upper Iowa River and less than 5 minutes from downtown Decorah. Guest access Our guests have access to their private patio with a gas and charcoal barbeque grills, walking trails on the property, and herb gardens to enjoy.
