Two small bedrooms, shower room and separate WC leading onto a large light landing. The cottage faces east-west and the garden at the back is well protected. There are plenty of sporting activities, walking, riding, sailing,swimming, windsurfing, fishing. Children enjoy climbing the lighthouse, animal park, rock fishing for shrimps, cockles and mussels, beaches, Cité de la Mer. There is a buzzing fishing port and marina in St Vaast La Hougue 4 km away, and Barfleur with its unique tidal harbour only 10km away. The cottage is 35 minutes drive from the ferry port in Cherbourg and 1 hour 15 minutes from Caen. It is within easy driving distance from the DDay landing beaches, Mont St. Michel and the Bayeux Tapestry amongst many other interesting sites. The nearest town, Quettehou, is 5 minutes drive away and visitors will find a big supermarket as well as local shops and a weekly market.
