Located in a friendly neighborhood and with space to sleep eight, Village Lodge is a gem of a home for families and friends exploring Stowe together. This beautiful and contemporary post and beam home boasts open style living and careful attention to detail. The main floor is made for gathering with easy flow from the well-equipped kitchen to the bright dining area that features a large farmhouse table and comfy banquette seating. A stunning great room shows off the architecture and a handsome wood-burning fireplace takes center stage with two large couches and walls of windows flanking both sides. Warm wood accents, wide-plank pine floors, neutral furnishings, and tasteful touches pull it all together. An additional conversational area and a separate den allow for guests to spread out and relax. The second level is home to the primary suite—large and lovely with a private bathroom, as well as two guest rooms with a shared bath. A family-friendly fourth bedroom is located on the lower level with a queen bed and two sets of twin bunks. Beautiful linens and dreamy beds are the highlight features of each bedroom. A multi stall bathroom, TV and rec area with a ping pong table completes the lower level. A total heaven for kids and kids-at-heart! Outside, a large deck out back and a covered porch out front feature rocking chairs to relax in and a private outdoor terrace is perfect for a summer evening with comfy couches and a firepit. The hot tub is a welcome amenity for cool nights and after fun days on the mountain. Manicured grounds, rocks walls, attractive plantings and a mowed lawn lead down to a perch above the wetland below—here four Adirondack chairs beckon under shade-giving leafy trees on sunny afternoons. A nearby footpath leads down to the arena, sledding hill, playground, and vibrant village beyond. *Top bunks are not suitable for adults.
