The space Our beautiful guest house sits privately on a second level, separated from our residence and accessed via outdoor staircase. The space is well-appointed, cozy, and totally private. It's the perfect retreat yet only minutes from world famous beaches, hiking, and a quaint beach town. Built like a luxury apartment providing upscale amenities and comfort, each room features vaulted ceilings and fans to stir the evening air or relax on your private lanai. Also, a rare find on our island - air conditioning throughout the apartment. Hawaii can be a hot and humid during the summer months but you can rest assured that you will be nice and cool. The beach is a short bike ride away as is Kailua Town and it's many restaurants and shopping venues. The city bus stop is an easy 10 minute walk from the house. A car is definitely recommended since we are located in a secluded neighborhood in Kailua. There is ample parking and we are located in a mature and quiet neighborhood. We welcome families and children, however, the sleeping accommodations are one, comfortable queen-size bed. I do have air mattresses if needed.
