Our five bedrooms have new king beds; plus a bunk bed set, one twin bed, two queen sleep sofas, youth cot and two infant beds and air bed. The space Malarkey's Roost offers the magnificence of the ocean in a setting that is unique to the coast. Steps to the beach yet providing privacy; intimately situated on a large and lushly vegetated verdant heaven with a waterfall and stream that will delight the young and provide serenity to the rest. Guest access This home is well appointed in every respect and can accommodate up to 14 with spacious, ocean view common areas and a huge ocean view deck. The large and beautifully landscaped property includes spacious lawns and paths through a fern and moss laden forest to a private and contemplative space to gaze upon a pristine waterfall and rushing stream. The main house features four bedrooms, a comfortable and cozy den and three full recently remodeled bathrooms. The studio apartment above the detached garage is spacious and comfortable with a recently remodeled first level bath; providing a space for privacy with stunning views. There is a 3/4 bath for the studio on the lower level which has been converted to an eclectic "surge" living and utility space. This home is beach classic and traditional with comfortable furnishings, including five new king beds, a fully equipped kitchen and a large, open great room replete with fireplace, ocean view window seats, dining for up to 14+. The ocean lifestyle is harmony with nature which abounds at Malarkey's Roost. The house was remodeled with granite counters, stone backsplash, new sink, faucet, and new hardwood flooring throughout the first floor kitchen, dining and living areas. The three bathrooms in the main house and bath in detached structure were extensively remodeled in 2020 with tile and stone features and new quartz top vanities. Maximum Occupancy is 14 people. 10.5% city and 1% state room taxes is added to rental fees. We ask that toys and other beach items be free of sand and returned to the place they were stored. Rates shown are for up to 8 persons. Additional persons $15 per day per person. Infants under 2 years are not considered as part of guest total. All other persons 2 years and above are part of the guest total. Dog fee is $15 per day per pet maximum of two dogs per group. Cleaning fee $350. Situations requiring additional cleaning beyond standard and customary is charged at $50 per hour. Our expectation is that the home be left in the same general condition of cleanliness and order that it was upon arrival.
