Grandmont Gites is a chameleon in years gone by. Originally a hostel, later a hotel, bar & brasserie and at one time even, a pumping station!. Les Fleurs is the newest of our three gites and has a more modern feel to it yet still has plenty of character and charm. Overlooking the pretty village of Grandmont, Les Fleurs sleeps 4 guests and is designed across the ground level. Two double bedrooms and a separate shower room plus kitchen leading to the dining room and a separate lounge with two comfy sofas. We have two other gites at Grandmont both of them listed with HomeAway: Les Vignes sleeps 8 guests and is designed over two floors and is perfect for large families or groups Les Arbres (CURRENTLY RENTED OUT LONG TERM) sleeps up to 5 guests and is ideal for couples sharing or small families Our facilities at the complex include: - onsite free parking - shared heated outdoor pool (chlorinated) usually open from June (earlier if weather température permits) - 10 x 5 meters - outdoor table tennis, trampoline and swing/slide - winter rental from late September to early June - child and pet-friendly Nearby is the medieval town of Ambazac with places to eat, shop and sightsee including the town's charming 13th Century church - home to two of the region's most precious relics. Limoges city is approx 25 mins drive, popular for its arts and crafts, theatres and museums, bars, eateries, boutiques and festivals... like Paris without the hassle and bustle! Lac Saint Pardoux is 15 mins drive and provides a beach-in-reach. Packed with all kinds of water sports and year-round activities - it's a great place to keep the family entertained. The area of Grandmont is surrounded by lakes for fishing and swimming, with endless forest trails and stunning scenery.
