Suite "Eugenie" in the heart of the Castle (capacity 3)
The history of this charming castle is linked to the family of Fresse de Monval and Admiral Villeneuve, opponent of Nelson and unfortunate hero of Trafalgar. Jeanne Bonaparte, Napoleon's niece, by her marriage to the Marquis Christian de Villeneuve, became the beautiful daughter of the then owner. She often stayed on vacation in these places. Three rooms and two suites of character with historical theme are offered. The castle is located on the edge of the village of Valensole, typical village of Haute Provence famous for its lavender, not far from the famous gorges of Verdon, Moustiers Sainte Marie and bathing lakes. This incomparable and mountainous region is rich in hiking trails throughout which you can get drunk sweet scents of Haute Provence. You will have free access to the relaxation area, under the chestnut almost bicentennial or are divided garden tables and sun loungers. The parking space is secured at night by the entrance gate. You have made the choice to come here to forget your daily constraints and worries and abandon yourself to the calm and poetry of these places full of history. This is why, as in most castles and manors, you will not find the television in your room but only the free Wifi access.
