cosy cottage perfect for walks and relaxing, dog friendly
Typical Derbyshire stone cottage with cosy lounge, with low beamed ceiling and coal burner effect gas fire. Cupboards with games, jigsaws, lego, colouring pens and books , local info and walking maps. Wifi, television and radio available. I believe this is a great place to make time for yourself, friends and family, a place to relax, a place for romance. The cottage has 2 generous double bedrooms, (1 with a kingsize bed), a bright dining kitchen and a downstairs shower room/toilet. The kitchen opens to a good sized, fenced in, south facing back garden with patio , lawn and flower beds. It is quite private and great for al fresco dining and a dog. The cottage is located on the edge of Crich Village, near the Stand and Tramway museum. There are lots of public footpaths nearby. Lots of off lead walks for dogs. Crich itself is very picturesque (featured in the television series Peak Practice as the village of Cardale) and has everything you need within a 15 minute walk : 2 pubs, convenience store, lovely bakery /tearoom, traditional butcher, Indian restaurant, fish and chips , post office and even a hair dresser/ beauty salon! Crich is only a 15 minute drive from Matlock Bath with restaurants, (esp Fish and Chips), Tearooms, Musea, Gullivers Kingdom, the Heights of Abraham and lots of small shops. The peak district and historical sights like Chatsworth, Hardwick Hall, Keddleston Hall, Haddon Hall and many more are all well less than 1 hour drive away. Even Alton Towers is only about 1 hour drive. There is information on lots of tourist attractions, local restaurants and walks available at the cottage. Ordnance survey maps for the brave or experienced ones...
