Meandering its way along is the stunning Burgundy Canal, ever changing with the seasons, it is just lovely to jog, stroll, cycle or cruise the waterways taking in the magnificent scenery. Just 10 mins away is the Medieval Town of Semur en Auxois, uncontested, one of the most picturesque towns in France today. The majority of this historical town remains intact and throughout the year events are taking place, which involves the participation of the entire population. IA site definitely NOT to miss! La Ferme de La Lochere is situated next to a trickling stream, which bares the same name. With a view overlooking its famous medieval bridge, and rolling countryside to the top of the valley. It's a glorious way to meet the day. This renovated, and lovingly restored 200 year old property was once part of the Chateau de Marigny, just a stones throw away surrounded by its moat ans still lived in by private owners.
