Only 7 minutes drive or 20 min walk from Livadi - the main port where the supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants are located. The house is located in a property of 5.400 square meters and consists of the main house and the guest house. Between the two buildings there is a spacious yard with an outdoor kitchen, barbecue, a dining table for 12 to 14 people, plenty of space to sit and a secluded outdoor shower. The main house consists of a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table for 8 people, a bedroom on the top floor and a second bedroom on the ground floor. The bedroom on the top floor has a double bed and a veranda with an extraordinary view. The second bedroom on the ground floor has two single beds and a third pull out bed. The guesthouse on the top floor has one bedroom with its own balcony, with two single beds (making a king size). Serifos is famous for the beautiful beaches with clean crystal clear water, which are scattered all along the coast of the island which you can reach by car. About Serifos Serifos is in the Cyclades group of islands in the Aegean Sea. Only 2 hours 30 min from Pireaus port (Athens port) by High Speed ferry or 4 hours 30 min by normal ferry. The port of Piraeus is approximately 45 minutes by car from the International Airport. The capital of Serifos called Hora, is perched high up on top of a hill that overlooks the harbour and provides some wonderful panoramic views stretching out into the Aegean. Hora has an ancient citadel, which has been used through history to protect the locals from pirates and foreign invaders. There is also an archaeological museum and a church from the 18th century which was build on a rock. Taking a walk along the narrow cobblestone paths, passing through small archways and brightly colour doors and windows of houses, you can reach the top of the town, and simple stand back and enjoy the inspiring views. You can find places to eat and drink and small shops. The harbour of Serifos, Livadi is very picturesque and along the coast you will find a lovely selection of cafes, bars and tavernas where you can enjoy a meal or drink. You can also find supermarkets, bakeries, butcher and grocery stores, shops with souvenirs and gifts, pharmacy, bank, ATM, post office. There are several mountainous villages spread out around the island such as Panagia, Galani, Megalo Livadi and Kentarhos. There is a local bus connecting Chora with some of the beaches and villages. You can also rent a car or a bike. Serifos offers some very nice preserved routes for hiking. Taxiarchon monastery is quite impressive and dates back to the 16th century.
