Apartment in the gallery in the hall
The apartment in the former home of the artist herman de vries is located in the middle of a small village at the foot of the Steigerwald Nature Park. The loving and individual furnishing of the approx. 60 sqm apartment with garden terrace invites you to linger and relax. The cities of Bamberg, Schweinfurt, Coburg and Würzburg can be reached quickly thanks to the good motorway connection. On the doorstep you will find hiking and cycling trails through the Steigerwald, Haßberge and Maintal. The apartment is on the 1st Floor of the house. It has a bedroom with 1 double bed, a living room with sofa bed, reading corner, desk, stereo with digital radio and satellite TV, a dining room, a kitchen with fridge, electric stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and mixer and a bathroom with bathtub, washstand and toilet. In summer you can relax on our small terrace under our quince tree. The cozy apartment is part of an idyllic historical property that was once the village inn and in its former dance hall there is now a small art gallery. In the nearby Oberschwappach there is a baroque castle from the 18th Century, in which you can visit an archaeological collection of sacred baroque works of art as well as exhibitions of contemporary art. In the immediate vicinity of our village you can take a leisurely stroll through the vineyards, taste wine tastings directly at the winemaker or stop off in one of the hedge inns. The next freeway entrance is approx. 6 km away. The nearest train station can be reached in Haßfurt (approx. 10 km), the next airport in Nuremberg (approx. 100 km). In the Haßberge district there is a very well developed network of cycle paths that also runs through our village and is connected to the Main cycle path.
