The house has great living spaces to enjoy. The space This captivating 1950's Prairie Style house is tucked away in one of the most well known coffee plantation regions of El Salvador: Juayúa. It sits in a two acre garden and includes outdoor entertainment areas under the shade of two majestic "Amate" trees and adjacent to various forests. Local weather is very pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 57F to 80F (13C to 26C) year-round. The dry season is from November until April and the rainy season is from May until October. The most chilly nights are those from November until February. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 whole bathrooms and 2 social bathrooms. These maintain their original function of a bath tub and "huacales" to pour water and take a bath. Water temperature is very pleasant and tempered. The social areas include a dining room that sits 8 people, a full kitchen with a 6 person breakfast table, and a large covered patio (Terraza) with an amazing view of the Apaneca - Ilamatepec mountain range, and the Izalco Volcano. Santa María is located just 1.5 miles from the gastronomic town of Juayúa, where you can taste local and international dishes during the weekends. It is 1.5 miles from La Majada coffee producing town, 10 from Ataco, and 22 miles from Decameron Salinitas beach resort. San Salvador is located 51 miles from the house. Contact us for more information we'll be happy to share it with you! Guest access During your stay you will be greeted by "Don Chepe" the house keeper. He will show you around the property. If you need a tour guide for Juayúa in the "Ruta de las Flores" let us know in advance so one of Chepe´s grandsons can guide you through the area. Also you may hire per day Chepe's wife: Niña Úrsula to help out with cooking and cleaning. Please let Don Chepe know when you are leaving and coming back to the house so he can lock it and let you back in. Cleaning fee is included yet gratuity is optional for Don Chepe. We live in San Salvador but if anything is needed let us know. Other things to note Additional daytime guests: An additional charge of $5 will be charged per additional guest that may be invited to spend the day at Santa María.
