Sunny room w/sitting or work area (option for additional work chair+table ). Dbl bed, dresser+2 closets. Shared bath w/shower stall is next door. All bedding+towels provided. 2nd floor of older home. Peaceful+quiet. Safe tree-lined neighborhood walking distance to grocery shopping+restaurants. Scenic river towns Nyack+Piermont are a brief bus ride away; borrow a bike to ride to Tallman State Park+pool. A homey+comfortable vibe. The space Quiet neighborhood but slight whir of 2-lane road behind house. Accessible to NYC (bus on the corner 1 hr to midtown; by car, 35 minutes). Room w/private bath downstairs may be rented or available. Feel free to use the backyard. Guest access Feel free to use the kitchen and all implements, hook up to the wireless, relax in the living room, plug your computer in to the big screen TV or sit out in the yard. There's a washer/drier in the basement for your use if you like, and an iron and ironing board. A hybrid bike can be borrowed. During your stay I usually work from home and can probably meet you on arrival. If not, I'll let you know where the key is. Also feel free to speak with me, call or text any time with any questions or concerns. I'm always interested to meet guests but happy to give you your space, too. Other things to note If you are bringing a car, we have a long but one-lane driveway, so we may want to move cars around if you need to be on the outside in the morning. Street parking is okay during the day but best to be in the driveway by night. No big parties pls but feel free to have friends over and use the shared spaces for dinner or hanging out. No overnight guests but if you are long term and want to have a friend/family visit we can discuss. My boyfriend Mike may stay over once a week and I may be away from the house two nights a week. Guests should clean up after themselves. If you are long term, I can clean your room and bathroom, let me know.
