Private Room With A Sea View is a shared space, ideal for the solo traveler. It is located in a quiet community, seven minutes (driving, no traffic) from downtown the City of Castries. Our surroundings are tidy, lush green and overlook the Caribbean Sea. This tropical atmosphere is the ideal place to soak in the Caribbean sunshine as well as to relax and unwind on the porch at the day’s end, while witnessing yet another spectacular sunset. The space This private room is a bedroom within a beautiful home situated on Lower Morne Fortuné on the outskirts of the capital, Castries. The room can accommodate up to 3 guests. There is a king size bed and a single bed to accommodate the third guest when needed. It has a porch that overlooks the verdant tropical surroundings and the calm Caribbean Sea. It is in a very quiet and friendly neighbourhood, the ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle. Relax and unwind at the end of the day on the porch, while soaking up the sunshine, sipping your favourite beverage and watching the cruise ships and sail boats go by… It comes equipped with your own private bathroom, A 45” inch smart TV, free Cable , Wi-Fi and internet access. with Netflix, U Tube , and even better yet IPTV system, where whatever part of the world you are from you could have access to your favourite channels. It has a small fridge, electric kettle, coffee maker ,bed linen, bath and beach towels. Guest will have access to the sitting room, dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. I live on the property so I will always be available to assist guests whenever necessary. There is free off street parking, and a barbeque grill is available upon request. Guest access The Living room, Kitchen and dining room Other things to note Public transport is within a 5 minute walk. Self-hired vehicles and taxis are easily accessible. The nearest beach, La Toc is a 5 minute drive away and Vigie Beach by car is fifteen minutes away (no traffic). The nearest restaurants, Coal Pot and Auberge Seraphine, are within ten to fifteen minutes’ reach; likewise are the supermarkets, pharmacies and the world-famous Castries Crafts Market. A list of events, activities and restaurants on our beautiful island is available upon request. Our international airport (Hewanorra) is approximately 1 hour drive and our smaller inter-island commuter airport (George F L Charles) is 15 minutes by car. Arrangements could be made for a taxi to pick you up at the airport, or you could pick up your self hired vehicle right there at the airport. For guests coming from Martinique, Guadeloupe or Dominica, Port Castries is about a five minute drive. The Owen King EU hospital (OKEU hospital), Victoria hospital, and Tapion hospital are about a seven to ten minute drive if you have your own transport. It is an ideal location for medical students seeking accommodation when doing their internship. For students taking public transport they will need to take a bus into Castries and another bus to the hospital. For the avid golfer, there is a nine hole golf course just five minutes away at the Sandals La Toc hotel. I am a super host that lives on property, so I am easily accessible day and night. I am always willing to assist my guests with arranging tours, a drive to the bus stop if I am at home and not busy, taxi pick up , etc. (my reviews speak for itself) All in all, Private room with a Sea View is definitely “your home away from home”
