Note: base price for up to 8 guests; enter number of guests for price. The space Located on the beach near the town of Barra de Santiago, our home provides indoor/outdoor living at its best! Our staff will take care of you upon arrival, and will be available to prepare meals, provide daily housekeeping and assist to make your vacation wonderfully relaxing and memorable. The house is designed to be open to the sea breezes and the sounds of the waves crashing. Hammocks and a daybed provide lots of great spots for relaxing with a good book or napping. Colorful talavera tile work adorns the open kitchen and spacious bathrooms. The large palapa by the pool provides additional hammocks as well as dining table for 20, an outdoor BBQ kitchen, two bathrooms (toilets) and outdoor showers. Unlike many beachfront properties that are long and narrow, our beach home is situated on a 4x wide property and has over 90 meters of beach front, so you will never feel cramped or shut in. The property stretches from the beach to the mangroves for a total of 3.5 manzanas (6 acres), planted with coconut trees, mangos, papaya, jocote, citrus and ornamental plants and trees, that are yours to wander and explore. We have plenty of grassy areas as well where kids and adults can play soccer, bocce or other games. Bedding configurations: - Spacious master bedroom with full bath and ocean view has king bed, room for additional single bed or mattresses if needed. - Two additional bedrooms in main house with flexible bedding can be set up to best suit your needs with 1 king bed or two or three singles beds, with space for a floor mattress. These two bedrooms share a bathroom. - Two new bedrooms contiguous to the main house each with 4 single beds plus space for 2 additional floor mattresses, each with their own full bath. (Singles can also be combined into kings as needed) All bedrooms have air conditioners and luxury bedding for comfortable sleeping. Staff: Dina (and sometimes her daughter, Daniela) will great you and help to make your stay the most enjoyable. Not only will they provide daily housekeeping, they are also wonderful cooks, having recently completed 2 years of culinary school in San Salvador. While not required, we strongly encourage that you let Dina cook for you - you wont regret it! You can shop for groceries yourself or we can do the shopping for a small fee. Dina's son, Manuel, is also available as driver for hire for excursions.. Roberto Carlos lives on the property as caretaker and provides maintenance and security. In addition to maintaining the pool and the gardens, he is also a master builder and carpenter. Roberto did the majority of the renovations on the house, built the palapa/rancho, and built almost all of the furniture and cabinetry! Dina and Roberto’s services are included in your rental, however we do ask that you tip them if you are pleased with their services. More details will be provided after rental confirmation. Guest access You will have access to the entire property with the exception of storage areas and the caretaker's house.
