The Farmhouse property offers country living, with a flare! We are located on the Lower St. Mary's River where you can enjoy the quiet country atmosphere, witness beautiful sunrises and watch the Great Lakes Freighters pass by. We own most of the surrounding property including down to the waterfront you see from the farmhouse. This allows for walks through the field, water access and a true riverfront, country living experience. We look forward to hosting you!!! The space The Farmhouse property has been in the family since the early 1900’s. We offer a completely remodeled home with new electric, plumbing & heating, all new appliances, fixtures, furniture, right down to the decor. The house sits on approximately 5 acres, lots of parking and 1/4 mile from the St. Mary’s Rivers and township boat launch. There is snowmobiling, side-by-side riding, boating, fishing, hunting, snowshoeing and hiking on property and/or nearby. There is a "farmhouse" front porch with rockers and a waterside patio with a grill, deck furniture and firepit. This is the perfect place to watch the sunrise and the passing freighters. We do see a lot of wildlife on the property as well. There is a country store within a 1/4 mile, bars/restaurants within 3 miles and we are 35 miles from the twin Saults (US/CAN) and the historic Soo Locks. You can also reach the DeTour/Drummond Island area within 20 minutes and the beautiful sand beaches of Lake Huron. We are approximately 50 miles from the Mackinac Bridge and the St. Ignace ferries to Mackinac Island. This makes for a great day trip from our location. Guest access You will have access to the entire home, with the exception of the attached garage.
