Casa Pocahontas is a beautiful hide away in the middle of the jungle close to one of Nicaragua’s best surfing beaches Playa Maderas (just 10 minutes walking) with your own private skate-bowl right in front of the house. One with a king size bed, the other one with two single beds which can be arranged as a double bed if wanted. In Casa Pocahontas you can either rent a single bedroom (you might need to share the bathroom and the upper level) or the entire house – long or short term, whatever suits you best. For further details please contact me. Both rooms have access to a nice terrace from where you can enjoy a great garden view. Next to the terrace there’s a big net (2×6 meters) installed with comfortable pillows for the perfect jungle chill (check out the pictures). The rooms are located in the downstairs area to ensure your room stays nice and cool regardless the Nica heat. On the first floor you will find a fully equipped open kitchen with a top hung window that can be opened and transformed into a nice little bar. Furthermore there is a big dining table, an outdoor couch, plenty of hammocks, rocking chairs and a huge roofed balcony that can be used no matter the weather. The whole house does not have any glass windows, only fixed installed mosquito nets in front of the windows and sliding doors. This guarantees a nice breeze throughout the house and the opportunity for an authentic jungle experience (without being under constant attack). If your answer is yes you will love Nicaragua! It’s literally a surfer’s paradise. Thanks to a huge lake in the northeast, the area of San Juan gets off-shore winds around 360 days a year. If you are not convinced yet picture consistent swell, warm water and tropical surroundings. When staying in Casa Pocahontas simply grab your board (for rentals or lessons scroll down), put on some zinc and walk down to Playa Maderas. After about a five minutes walk you will find one of the best surf spots in Nicaragua, suitable for beginners as well as for pros. Skate No surf – no problem. at Casa Pocahontas you will have your own private skate-bowl-pump-track right in front of the house, so that you can work on your surf skills all day long with our special surf-skateboards . What is surf-skating? A surfskate is a skateboard designed for surfing on the street. Its special front truck allows movements similar to surfing. If you want to improve your surf skills outside of the water or if you are looking for a super fun cruiser – try surf-skating! Getting around We are also renting a beautiful Toyota Landcruiser 100. As Casa Pocahontas is quite remote you should really consider renting it as well to check out the other beautiful beatches, get to San Juan, ....
