Welcome to Grenada, the Isle of Spice! As you are leaving the airport, driving into the country, the smell of our spices like nutmeg and cinnamon is lying in the air wherever you go. As this is the year of 50s Independence you will feel the extra crackle of excitment in the air and you will also have the opportunity to see and take part in various Independence celebrations. Breezy Villa Kunterbunt is located “off the beaten track“ at the end of the small village of Beaton, St. David’s. The space Breezy Villa Kunterbunt is surrounded by a garden with fruittrees, (Mango, Sugarapple, ...) The house is concepted as open space. Bathroom with rainforestshower and toilet are seperate rooms. There are large, airy terraces in front and behind the house where you can watch birds, lizzards and inguanas in the cool breeze or simply enjoy your time. Air conditioning is not necessary due to the light breeze that always blows. Guest access Garden, verandahs and grond floor are available for use. The upstairs is not available thus locked. Other things to note Breezy Villa Kunterbunt is located “off the beaten track“ at the end of the small village of Beaton, in the parish of St. David’s. If you love it rather quiet – this is the place for you! With beautiful sunrise over the ocean in a distance and awakening birds. There are little shops in walking distance either at the beginning of the village or even a short walk down the „hill“. The closest beach is La Sagesse Beach in St.David‘s, which is 10 minutes drive by car. The world-famous Grand Anse Beach is located in the south of the island and can be reached in 20-30 minutes by car, so is Maurice Bishop International Airport and the capital of St. George with ist colourful markets. Neighbouring village to Beaton is Laura with its Laura Herb and Spice Garden and Palm Tree Gardens. There you can see and buy fresh spices. At the respective location they do offer tours.
