The West Wing is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath guest suite in Riverdale Park, right outside of DC. The unit is one block from bike trails, public transportation into the city and award winning restaurants like 2FiftyBBQ and Manifest Bread. With a separate entrance and private front porch to enjoy, the suite is attached to our home but is its own separate unit. Convenient location close to UMD or spacious hotel alternative for business trips or for those wanting to easily explore the sights in downtown DC. The space Built in 1914 in historic Riverdale Park, the home has original hardwood floors and lots of character but with an updated bathroom and kitchenette. This clean and stylishly decorated unit has a queen Casper mattress in each bedroom as well as a queen West Elm pull out sofa in the living room. The kitchenette has a full sized fridge, brand new air fryer/toaster and microwave plus compost bin available if desired. Rainfall shower head (with fantastic water pressure!) and hand-held attachment in the renovated bathroom. Our family lives in the main house so we are close for any questions if needed but also completely separate so that you will not be bothered and can access the unit privately. The front porch is all yours to enjoy and there is a keyless secure lock for check in. There is plenty of free street parking in front and on the side of the property. Window unit AC and radiator heat available in each room. 50in smart TV in living room with Netflix, YoutubeTV and HBOmax. Next door is the Riversdale House Museum with large open green space and beautiful gardens to stroll, or enjoy a meal outside on the grounds. There is a backdoor in the kitchenette however we ask that it only be used in emergencies- the front door and porch are exclusively for our guests! If children are staying, please let us know and we can have a pack n play, toys, books, etc. available for your use. If the pullout couch will be used, please let us know prior to your stay so we can either make it up for you or leave sheets and bedding out. Guest access We will send you a code for keyless check in prior to your arrival. Other things to note MARC Train Camden Line is one block away. One stop to Union Station in DC. Closest Metro- The Hyattsville Crossing Metro - Green Line is 1.4 miles away. The F4 metro bus (Silver Spring to New Carrollton) is half a block away for additional public transportation needs.
