The space Our clean, well-equipped home is located in a private neighbourhood on a cliff with breath-taking, panoramic views of the desert, Sea of Cortez and distant mountain ranges. It is minutes (driving) from pristine, quiet beaches and downtown. Spend the day luxuriating on the expansive deck while swimming in your private salt-water pool and cascading, 10-person hot tub. The living space is 'open-concept' with plenty of windows which highlight the views from every room and let the sun shine in. Our spacious home is perfect for 2 families with children, or 3 couples. Cook gourmet meals in the indoor/outdoor kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances. The Casa is also equipped with a big screen TV (with HDMI cable), a DVD player and a variety of movies, adult books, children's books, toys and games. Discover the charm of friendly Los Barriles with its undiscovered beaches while it's still mostly a secret and remains uncommercialized. The town caters to the many ex-pats living here with its wonderful restaurants, quaint shops, markets, and opportunities to book adventure trips (fishing, kite boarding, ATVs, etc.) And 'Yes,' it's safe! We guarantee you'll fall in Love fast. Come...bathe in the soothing light of the sunrise over the sea each morning...and don't forget your camera! Guest access You have access to the full living area of the casa, big screen TV, expansive outdoor deck (including outdoor kitchen area), hot tub and pool, laundry room and gated driveway. USE OF THE PROPANE/HEATING SYSTEM FOR THE HOT TUB AND POOL: The hot tub is not heated constantly. The heat is only turned on about 45 to 60 minutes before use. About $18/day of propane usage is included in the rental fee which allows for the propane to be running approximately 4 hours a day to heat the hot tub only. Typically, we would only fire up the hot tub in the evening when it gets cooler and turn it off before bed. If you want to run it more, or you are using it to heat the pool, then we will charge you for the extra usage beyond the allotted $18/day at the end of your stay. The pool/hot tub are on their own propane tank so we can all easily keep track of usage. Other things to note Although we have check in time listed as 4pm and check out time listed as 11am, there are days when we can be flexible about this. How to get here from SJD airport: We are about 80 miles north of the airport. It takes about 50 minutes to get to Seven Seas Property Management and about 60 minutes to our casa. Leave the airport and take HWY 1 going to La Paz. When you start to see the ocean on your right you are getting close to Los Barriles. When you get to Los Barriles, turn right at the fountain with the barrels (Street name: Calle Valentin Ruiz). A short distance down the street is SEVEN SEAS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT on the left hand side. Josefina will be there waiting for you to give you the keys and show you the way to the casa. We can also arrange your pick up from the airport if you like. Cars can be rented at the airport or in Los Barriles at the Hotel Las Palmas De Cortez (call to confirm if you are renting from the hotel.)
