Watauga Lake's Canyon Dream waterfront log cabin is located in a secluded cove with private dock, kayaks, paddleboard, paddle boat, and fire pit. Watch the sun set over the forest, float your way around the quiet cove, or venture out to explore over 180 miles of shoreline. Enjoy the outdoor living spaces, take in the lake views, and watch the kids play in the quiet cove from the comfort of the porch. At the water, you will find room to fish, sunbathe, swim, or just unwind. Just outside the secluded cove is a large bay away from the main channel, perfect for water activities. Bring your boat and launch at the nearby Little Milligan boat ramp or rent a boat from a local marina and keep it docked in the boat slip during your stay. At the fire pit, kick back in the Adirondack chairs and roast s'mores, enjoy a picnic, or play some corn hole. Continue the fun after sunset when the string lights illuminate the backyard and dock into the evening hours. In the house, spread out on Canyon Dream's two levels. The 2nd floor has a day bed overlooking the cove you will not want to miss. The back porch and large deck let you see across the lake for unbeatable views. The main floor consists of a bedroom which has a king bed with an ensuite bath, a large kitchen and dining area, a living room with stone fireplace, an entertainment area, washer/dryer and half bath. The 2nd floor reveals another bedroom with queen bed, a bunk room with 4 bunks beds and 2 trundle beds, a full side day bed, and another full bath. Each bedroom has a smart TV for all your streaming needs. Moving outside, the large covered porch and adjacent open deck offers plenty of outdoor furniture and seating. Speakers are in the living area of the home as well as on the deck and dock, for you to enjoy your favorite Spotify or Airplay playlist during your stay. Guest access Guests access the home using a smart lock and will be given a code to use during their stay. The code only works during the scheduled time and days. Other things to note Guests will find options for outdoor cooking: a gas grill, cooking forks, and plenty of firewood. If you are headed indoors, our kitchen has all the conveniences of home; a microwave, coffee maker, hand mixer, crock pot, blender, and toaster. We have glasses and dishware for 12 guests, as well as a set of various shape/size snap top leftover containers.
