Welcome to The Golf Cottage! Whether you are an avid golfer or not this property has a great location! The home is located on the edge of the city of Hayward and just across the street from Hayward Golf Course. Located near the walking/bike path and just a short walk to downtown main street with shops and great places to eat and drink. Also just a couple minute drive to skiing, snowshoeing, & hiking trails. The space Inside, the Cottage is cozy and bright with lots of natural light. The large kitchen features stainless steel appliances and an island. There are great sunset views of the golf course out the large windows in the living room and dining area! Both bedrooms have a queen-sized bed and plenty of closet space. The main bathroom features one sink with plenty of counter space, and a tub and shower combo. The second bathroom features a stand up shower and small sink. We have a washer/dryer available and ask guests to provide their own detergent. Outside, we have a private firepit patio area with a gas grill that you can access through the garage or you can enjoy the sunrise or sunset from the covered from porch. The Cottage offers all of the conveniences you’ll need to enjoy your time in Hayward. WiFi, TV with Streaming, movies, games and kitchen supplies (dishes, glasses, silverware, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, etc.). Bathroom and kitchen towels are provided. All beds are provided with clean linens and comforters as well as extra blankets if needed. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cottage and front and back yards. The back patio can be accessed through the kitchen to the breezeway and through the garage. Other things to note For more fun in the area, try floating or kayaking down the Namekagen River, check out a famous lumberjack show, shop at one of our downtown festivals in the in the summer or fall, a concert at The Park Center or come to experience the American Birkebeiner! Please note: This cottage is owner operated. Pricing includes state and county lodging tax, as well as sales tax. Please be aware of constantly changing rates that are based on demand for accommodations. FAQs: Q: Can we check-in early or check-out late? A: It depends. Check-in is at 3pm and can accommodate earlier if the cleaning is ready. Q: Is there WiFi and is it any good? A: Yes. It gets about 80 mbps enough to stream movies, work remotely, and hook up to couple of devices. Q: Is there cable TV? A: No. There is a smart TV though. (Please log in to your favorite streaming services. Just remember to log out before you leave.) Q: Do we provide firewood? A: No, firewood can be purchased at several local convenience and grocery stores for approx. $5 per bundle. Q: Is the water safe to drink? A: Yes, we are on our municipal water and sewer. Q: Are pets allowed? A: Unfortunately, we do not allow pets. Q: Do I have to clean up before I check-out? A: You certainly don't have to do anything at all if you don't want to. We would appreciate you balling up the linens on the bed and putting towels in a pile in the bathroom. Q: Are there ATV/Snowmobile trails close by? A: Yes. ATV/UTV's are legal on City Streets so right out the front door. Hwy 63 is off limits. Please review City Ordinance No. 552. You are just minutes from snowmobile trails.
