Bikes, Beach equipment, access to a tennis/ pickleball court. Kayaks (for small rental fee), and Electric Tandem that is a fun way to get to the local convince stores. WE also provide a classic video game emulator that will bring the generations together over the nostalgia. A giant table configuration can be made up to play a selection of board games that will likely be recounted by family members for years to come. Since we fully plan on hosting up to 11 at a time, there is a "on demand" water heater that will not let you down once it gets going. There is a laundry facility of standard size that will let you travel lighter and keep your swim attire fresh and clean. The property comes with a Queen in the main bedroom. that is centrally located between the bunk bedroom with 2 twins and a full bed and the "Murphy bed room" with the ability to drop a queen down for sleeping and fold up to set up dinner tables. That is if the outdoor patio isn't more appealing or the large front Livingroom isn't ideal for a sports watching party. The Livingroom also has a conversion couch capable of transforming into a full sized bed. Even when not in the bed mode, it is the best napping spot in the house. the kitchen is stocked with a full sized stove, microwave, water and ice on the door. of a very capable double fridge. Just cooking a few meals will more than make up any difference in the price of staying at a hotel. The coffee and the selection will turn any causal coffee drinker into a coffee and/ or tea snob by the time they leave. Then the patio has a lard 4 burner grill where a family sized BBQ can be prepared all at once. You will feel at home, your loved ones are safe, and the experience will be shared with your party without feeling the awkwardness of a hotel hallway. Guest access This is a "Whole house" rental in so much that the guest will have the only access to their space during their stay. There is a studio ("Captain Quarters") is located in the back and separated by it's own access and 3 layers of drywall and insulation. We try to meet every guest in person. There are 3 reasons for this. First is business. We have done this Vacation hosting for 5 seasons now and have a host of older veterans that have granted us their wisdom as well. We have seen a lot of shenanigans in that time. Spaces that sleep 6 have 9 people show up. 60 ft of vehicles show up for our little parking commodity. Dogs. We love dogs, We allow a small dog. But we have set limits based upon the longevity or our spaces and on the notion that we have to get houses reset in the shore time between guest leaving and a new and arriving. We do charge for a pet fee. We also have to make sure the person renting is the person who booked it. This advice came from out Legal advisor. Aside from business, the house comes with way more than you will be able to stumble on yourself. The tour is normally short and entertaining. some guest and I have hit it off and we talked for much longer. that bring me to the third point. I don't need this as a source of income. It is probably going to take 10 years to pay off what we put into the place to make it comfortable and modern. There is a "break Even" point between renting vacation homes or renting monthly. Expenses are not the same for vacation homes as we pay utilities and our time to reset the place and track bookings. Maintenance is kept up to an impeccable standard with us trying to address most chips in paint to faulty electronics. We like meeting the guests. We have been lucky to travel much between the two of us. Meeting new people is something we both share as an enjoyable aspect. This is dad's legacy. As kids it was a very important thing that we, as a family, take vacations and have shared experiences. I am humbled by the fact that I get to be part of the enabling of those situations. There are memories being shared out there that were made possible by my dedication and hard work. I would like to meet you and even if for a brief moment, get to know you. (Final note) we do not have a place on the property to park a boat on a trailer.) We have a shared driveway, but the house has just sold and we no longer know who the new owner is. There is a Marina that is safe and secured called "Cranberry Creek" less than a 1/4 mile away. We live not far away now, as I have assumed my childhood home. WE have parked a few guest in our driveway. We hope to have a dedicated parking spot for that cause in the future. But though there is "parking" around the park, it is frowned upon in the lower season and will get towed during the high season fir parking lengthwise. So let us know you are coming with a boat and we will discuss the options, You can decide if we are better option than a hotel with a large parking lot . Other things to note Please note there is no room for parking a boat, there is an allowance for a small pet of 30#'s or less, but we will ask about the breed and size, and it comes with a pet fee. Some of our amenities require a wavier and a small rental fee that will be billed after the stay to make sure there was weather and time to use it.
