The space Our cabin is tucked away in a secluded area, with only one other cabin in sight (Forest Gap - also available for rent), ensuring your privacy and tranquility. Yet, you're just a short 15-minute drive away from the breathtaking New River Gorge National Park & Preserve and less than 10 minutes from Confluence Event Center. The cabin is surrounded by woods with a mixture of leaved and pine trees, part of a 20 acre secluded property. The backyard includes an Almost Heaven barrel sauna, new 5-person hot tub, and a large fire table to unwind after a day of hiking, climbing or rafting. Nearby is a fire pit with attachment for wood-fired cooking and Adirondack chairs, perfect for roasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the starry sky. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a cozy living area complete with a 65-inch TV, foosball and Simpsons arcade game for your entertainment. The master bedroom to the right of the living room, offers a private area with its own TV and master bath with massaging shower for your enjoyment. The living room TV includes a Bose Atmos soundbar that can play music from your phone with a Bluetooth connection. Both bathrooms are equipped with Bluetooth speakers as well. The fully stocked kitchen – and gas grill just outside - invites you to whip up delicious meals, and there's plenty of room at the dining table for sharing stories and laughter. Stay connected with high-speed Starlink internet, ensuring you're always in touch with the world even as you embrace nature's tranquility. Guest access You'll have access to the entire house, except for an owner's closet past the laundry room. Other things to note We welcome well-behaved dogs (non-aggressive breeds) at the house. We do ask that dogs stay off beds and furniture (we provide a doggy bed) and that guests properly dispose of pet waste. Dogs must be under direct supervision of owners, and not left alone at the house uncrated. We provide bowls for food and water, but guests must bring dog food. We recommend all wheel drive during winter months, as there is a somewhat steep gravel road to reach the property. Low profile vehicles should drive cautiously on the gravel road.
