The Salty Peach is a haven for two in the heart of town. This chic studio harmonizes comfort and style for an unforgettable stay. Step into our inviting space, a cozy sanctuary beckoning you to unwind after soaking up the sun on the beach or immersing yourself in the vibrant energy of downtown. Our thoughtfully equipped kitchen awaits, boasting modern amenities and essentials like coffee pods, creamer,& sugar. Relax in the cowboy pool and drift off to sleep in the plush king bed after a long day The space While there is central AC and heating in the entire house, there are no AC/ heat controls in the guest unit. The unit has an additional space heater, ceiling fan, and portable fan for those who would like to adjust the temperature slightly. If you reach out to me between 7 am- 8 pm then I would be glad to make adjustments to the central controls within reason. My goal is for you to be comfortable! Guest access You'll have access to the guest unit and the sitting area out front. The backyard is a shared space with my two dogs, Hamilton and Boitano. In the backyard you will also find the "cowboy pool" - a chlorine, 2 ft deep, 8 ft round place to relax. While it may look like a hot tub, the jets do not adjust and it is currently only heated by the sun. Heat for winter is coming! Floats and noodles are provided. Other things to note Guests will be required to e-sign a rental agreement, provide a refundable security deposit on a valid VISA or MC, and provide a valid government ID. Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions during this process; this complies with NC law and all booking platforms' rules. Failure to sign the agreement and provide the ID is grounds for the reservation to be canceled at no plenty to the host. The guest's name on the reservation must match the name on the ID and signed agreement. The first name, last name, and age of any other guest is required to complete the agreement. The rental agreement includes the following terms and conditions: I understand the rules and rental conditions upon which I am agreeing to rent accommodations, equipment, and use of the property. I acknowledge and accept that the sole responsibility for safety lies with the participant. In agreeing to this, I acknowledge that outdoor activities and exposure to the natural elements and animals can be dangerous and sometimes result in injury and even death. Steps and decks can be slippery, animals and insects can threaten and infect or injure, and exposure to the elements can cause hypothermia, and sunburn, among other risks inherent in participating in camping, outdoor, and water activities. I know that alcohol and/or drugs do not mix safely with any outdoor activity. I am over the age of 18 and assume responsibility for those in my charge under the age of 18. I hereby assume all legal responsibility for bodily injury to me or to any person on the property as a result of my visit and use operation or possession of equipment hired or loaned to me. Acknowledging this, I accept complete responsibility for the minor children and myself in my charge and visit the property and equipment and engage in activities or events at my own risk. I will abide by the rules and accept these rental conditions: I affirm I am at least 18 years of age and the person entering into the rental agreement. The property I rent will be returned in the same condition in which it was rented and I will be responsible for all damage and/or loss that occurs during my rental period. I agree to hold harmless and to indemnify the Owner of the Rental Property against all loss, damage, expense and penalty on account of personal injury or property damage to the rental dwellers, the undersigned or to any minor child or children in the charge of the undersigned, howsoever rising, whether by act or acts or failure to act of the employees, owners or animals of the said company or property owners or not. I acknowledge receipt of the property in good order and condition (if found otherwise per my arrival I will contact Owner immediately) and further agree that the Owner of the Rental Property shall not be liable for consequential damages of any kind or nature from whatever cause arising, whether property or equipment is loaned or rented. I enter into agreement freely with the Owner of the Rental Property at my own risk, acknowledging the risks inherent in indoor and outdoor activities and assume any and all responsibility for the minor children and myself in my charge. All parties agree to and will comply with Federal, State, and County laws and any other applicable regulations. Keep the Property, common areas, and appurtenant areas clean, safe, and sanitary; Dispose of all ashes, rubbish, garbage, and other waste in a clean and safe manner; Keep all plumbing fixtures clean; Not deliberately or negligently destroy, deface, damage, or remove any part of the Property or render inoperable the smoke detectors; Be responsible for all damage, defacement, or removal of any property inside the Property that is in his or her exclusive control; Immediately notify the agent in the event repairs or replacement of smoke detector are needed; Additionally, the Tenant agrees to: (i) leave the Property in the same or better condition as when the tenancy began except for normal wear and tear, (ii) be financially responsible for unwarranted or unneeded service calls and service calls caused by Tenants misuse of the Property, (iii) report any and all problems to The Salty Peach immediately (within 24 hours or prior to departure), (iv) not to enter Owner's private storage spaces, (v) to abide by occupancy limits of the Property at all times. The Tenant will be the sole contact person in regards to this Agreement and the tenancy. Such Tenant is responsible for the adherence of all other occupants, visitors, or guests of the Tenant to this Agreement. Tenant will be held liable for extra cleaning charges and fined $500 for damages involved in Smoking inside. Tenant understands the property is a non-smoking property. No smoking, vaping, candles or open flames may be used at any time inside the property. Guests understand that failure to fulfill check-out duties may affect your security deposit or result in charges to your credit card. Late check-out fees of up to $100.00 per hour are charged starting at 10:00 AM on the date of checkout as stated in the reservation unless otherwise expressly agreed upon in writing by the Owner. No grills or open flames may be used at any time near the house. Agree that if an email is provided, may receive follow-up communications from The Salty Peach for exclusive marketing purposes with the option that allows to unsubscribe. No user contact information will be sold to 3rd parties. Comply with any and all other instructions, regulations, or guidelines communicated by the Agent as well as all local ordinances. A pet of any kind on the premises including the exterior, decks, garages, etc. of the Property is absolutely prohibited and is grounds for expedited eviction of the entire party and forfeiture of all monies paid as provided in the NCVRA. The Tenant understands and agrees that a violation of the pet policy will result in fees of not less than $500.00 per hour the pet remains on the premises after informing the Tenant of the violation until the pet is removed from the property. The Tenant shall be responsible for costs associated with damage, pest control, carpet cleaning or replacement, and furniture cleaning or replacement. Proof of pet removal must be provided by the Tenant when a violation has occurred if occupancy is to continue.
