Your private room is a simple, hotel-style room with two twin beds and a private bath located at Eaden in the Alleghenies Retreat facility, a beautiful 26-mile drive from Snowshoe Mountain. Eaden boasts a cozy Wifi Cafe' with a fireplace, laundry facility, and staff ready to meet your every need. All this makes Eaden the perfect place to crash at the end of a long day adventuring in Nature's Mountain Playground. All proceeds go to the ministries of Ambassadors for Christ based at Eaden AFC. The space Your room, one of six rooms, all a part of one of the hotel-style units Ambassadors for Christ Ministries acquired from the Gaithwright Dam project in Virginia which ended in the early '80s. Each unit has a covered porch with benches and chairs to relax on. Each space is clean, cozy, and comfortable regardless of the character brought on by the years. The walls are thin so we ask for consideration of neighboring guests. We are a low-tech facility by design, offering a place to unplug and breathe. Keep this in mind as you book. The Cafe' & Kitchen (common areas) built from timber off the mountain have good Wifi at all times. The hotel rooms have intermittent Wifi. We DO provide all linens but DO NOT provide shower soaps. Guest access On the 13 acre property there is a fire pit, picnic pavilion, Wifi Cafe' and laundry facility that you are welcome to use throughout your stay. Other things to note Your room is part of Unit 1, one of 6 hotel style units the retreat reclaimed from the Gathright Dam project which ended in the early 80's in Virginia.
